Student Days

Thursday 9 June – Friday 10 June 2016
10:00—16:00

The Long Table café, Horsebridge Centre

Student Days offer a fun and informative day out for students, both undergraduate and postgraduate, and lecturers. Students have a choice of date: either Thursday 9 June or Friday 10 June, both days offering the same programme.

Meeting between 10:00 and 10.30 at the Biennale HQ (the Horsebridge Centre), students and staff will be greeted by director Sue Jones, who will introduce the theme of the Biennale, before heading off on a tour of the works all around the town. There will be plenty of free time for lunch, which can be spent exploring Whitstable and its many fine eateries, watching more of the film programmes, sampling the food at the Biennale’s pop-up café or even relaxing on the beach. After lunch, students and staff are invited to join us for an arty pub quiz – fabulous prizes for the winning teams!

Students/colleges will need to organise their own transport (to arrive between 10:00 and 10:30). All events are free, but students are advised to bring either a packed lunch or money for lunch.

Please note that booking is essential, and places are offered on a first come, first served basis. You may RSVP individually or as a group (in which case, please estimate numbers).
