Getting to Whitstable

Map

View the google map of Whitstable.

By car
Whitstable is just off the M2. It is around an hour's drive from London, through the Blackwall Tunnel.

By train
Trains from London Victoria take around 1 hour and 20 minutes. If you take a Eurostar train from mainland Europe, change at Ashford International. There are no direct trains from there to Whitstable, but the journey takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes (changing at Ramsgate, Margate or Canterbury).

Disabled access

We aim to have very good access to all venues. However, Whitstable is a small town with narrow streets and tiny alleys and a shingle beach.

All of the venues in the Whitstable Biennale 2010 are situated on the ground floor, with the one exception of the Coastguard's Lookout, which is on the first floor, up an outdoor narrow set of steps.

Please call us at the Biennale office on 01843 596 194 or email us if you would like more information about Whitstable or any of the venues.
