Museum and various locations around town

Benedict Drew’s work uses the apparatus of film, video and music to test and reflect upon the relationships we have with technology and its oscillation between the exulted and the commonplace, between desire and redundancy. In this new installation, he created a set of interlinked narratives played out by unlikely objects and computer technology, including clumps of detritus and ‘ghillie suits’ (costumes that disguise the wearer as heavy foliage, favoured by hunters and YouTube eccentrics).
