Following a visit to Whitstable, Lucienne Cole gathered popular elements of local culture to choreograph a performance in the Bingo Hall. Building up through various phases to its finale on the stage at the hall, Cole included the music of Prokofiev and The Smiths in her performance. 67 Made in Heaven received assistance from the local Scouts Brass Band, and a nearby bakery provided novelty pastries, or ‘happy cakes’, as refreshments.
