The Whitstable Biennale 2008 has been generously funded by Canterbury City Council and Arts Council England South East.

Funding has also been received from The Henry Moore Foundation and Kent County Council. The curator of the satellite programme, Polly Read, has been funded by Canterbury City Council's CD:EK programme. Whitstable Oyster Fishery Co, ADi Audiovisual and Ernest Bond Printing have given invaluable support.
