The Whitstable Biennale 2006 is a Canterbury City Council Initiative. It has been generously funded by Canterbury City Council and Arts Council England South East.

Funding has also been received from Kent County Council, from the Arts Development Unit, Education and Libraries and the Community Schools Development Fund.
