XENON

XENON is a major work developed by artist Mikhail Karikis. Calling the work an 'exploded opera', the six 'chapters' of XENON are took placeat East Kent festivals over summ/autumn 2010. More information about XENON can be found here.

The Whitstable Biennale

The Whitstable Biennale is a festival of contemporary visual art exploring performance and artists' moving image. The Whistable Biennale 2010 was the fifth festival, we are currently planning the next festival for September 2012.

2010 Commissions Programme

The 2010 Biennale programme of commissions includes a series of major new commissions, including new works by Phil Coy, Adam Chodzko, Katie Paterson, Anna Lucas, Olivia Plender & Unnar Örn, Karen Mirza & Ruth Beale, Alex Pearl and Mikhail Karikis. Kieren Reed's sculpture will operate as the Biennale HQ for the two weeks, and Uddin & Elsey are launching a two-year project.
